Lamin Lodge on the edge of the river Gambia and Abuko National Park . The lodge is built on stilts half on land and half in the river. It is a sort of jump off point for canoe and birdwatching trips into the mangrove creeks. The lodge is around two hours upriver from the coast . A few of us hired a fishing boat and sailed from the beaches on the Atlantic coast upriver into gambia. The lodge can also be accessed by road on the way to Brikhama.
